You want to run the bath water as hot as you can physically take without burning your body in the process. After filling the tub up with water, add the baking soda to the mix. Soak in the water and baking soda for a minimum of 15-20 minutes. What this does is relaxes the muscles so that the body can do a better job at attaching whatever is causing the bronchitis in the body. This also provides breathing relief as breathing in the hot fumes is good for unclogging the nasal passages.
Eating raw onions is also a great strategy for fighting against bronchitis. When you swallow raw onions, upon making contact with the mucus buildup, it actually breaks down the buildup, making it easier to expel from the body. You should never cook the onions, rather you should eat it raw. Find food items that you can add raw onions to so that you can consume them and enjoy its benefits.
Another option for you to fight bronchitis is to get some fresh air while walking. Of course, you have to live in an area that has fresh air in order to do this. If so, the walk will help your body fight off the germs and also make it easier for you to breathe. However, you don’t want to engage in a full workout as this will focus too much of your body’s energy on working out and nto enough on fighting the illness.
By following these strategies and implementing them into your overall plan for fighting off bronchitis you should be able to reduce your overall symptoms. However, if this does not take place, seek out help from your doctor immediately.
